Getting rave reviews is a new exhibit at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art featuring the golden age of Muslim kingdoms that ruled South-Central India from 1500-1700. The exhibit is called “Sultans of Deccan India: Opulence and Fantasy,” and “is rife with rare works from collections in Europe and India that are seldom seen together, and includes several new discoveries,” according to critic Roberta Smith.
