MOST is based on a partnership between Unity Productions Foundation and the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution, in association with the Gallup Organization and the Muslim West Facts Project.

NPR's Steve Inskeep moderated a MOST Resource panel, which included the foremost expert on robotics in warfare, Peter W. Singer, along with Black Hawk Down writer, Mark Bowden, legal expert, Catherine Crier, and CBS Foreign Correspondent, Jere Van Dyke, to discuss the use of drones in warfare and surveillance both abroad and here at home. The panel also discussed how this technology is quickly being moved over to use in local law enforcement and some of the legal ramifications of these changes.
